IGT has developed multiple self-service touchscreen vending machines such as the Gemini Touch 28, 24, 20, and GTDraw. These are typically found in high-volume retailers to provide increased flexibility. The number represents how many bursters are in the machine to dispense physical scratch tickets to the customer. In addition to scratch tickets, IGT offers the nations favorite Draw games such as Powerball, Mega Millions, Keno, Pick 3, Pick 4, Lotto, Raffles, and many other state specific branded games.
Branding // Print Design
The above terminal renders showcase a 42-inch touchscreen display with a variety of pieces I directly worked on. Starting with the Trim Kit, each jurisdiction has its own branding, flavor, voice, and requirements. These are die-cut vinyl skins precisely installed on the bezel. In addition to standard branding, there are instructional panels near the barcode scanner, bill acceptor, cashless payment, and play slip reader to help guide the customer through their checkout experience.
UI/UX Interfaces
As shown in my Wireframes section, these user interfaces are designed at 1080x1920p resolution to showcase a multitude of scratch tickets, online games, and draw games. We abide by ADA & WCAG compliant UI Design Systems. This accommodates people with disabilities that may have vision issues or inability to reach above a certain point. There are features we added to assist these limitations, such as, High Contrast Mode, Zone Navigation, and Flip Screen.

The monitor on top of the GT28 is part of our Retail Digital Media which helps attract customers with advertisements, and display some of the latest up to date Jackpot Information, Winner Awareness, Amber Alerts, Draw times, and Draw dates. More than 50 jurisdictions worldwide use IGT’s Retail Digital Media as part of their retail content strategy. I helped pull dynamic data from our Host and Client Systems via .XML files to ensure players get the information they need.
Animations
The Attract Screen Animations are what grabs the players attention from across the retail location. Displaying their favorite branded games, local winners, large jackpots, or purchase process. This is really the first impression the player has with our products.
A major part of Draw Game sales are based off of Jackpot sizes. We have found from market research that some players only purchase tickets when a certain Jackpot amount is met. I have designed animations for various jurisdictions showcasing the potentially life changing money that can be won. You could be next!
is a revolutionary digital instant ticket printing platform that provides unprecedented flexibility in the design, production, and marketing of instant games. We utilize state-of-the-art digital printing equipment to produce instant tickets with design features that cannot be created with existing technologies. Display graphics, game symbols, and the ticket back can now be generated in high-resolution full color with much higher scene variability than with traditional flexographic print technologies.
This advertisement animation showcases omnichannel content, licensed content, and other popular brands. These engaging digital eInstant games came to market in 2014 and have been growing ever since.
The North American Association of State and Provincial Lotteries (NASPL) is hosted every year, with IGT always being a focal point of the show. I developed a demo reel of featured games to display on our terminals.
This animation aids the User Experience purchasing process while displaying as a screen saver to attract customers towards the machine. It will explain how to make purchases, scan drivers licenses, scan tickets, and forms of payment accepted.
Highlighted games are featured here to advertise players favorite games, best sellers, or new games added that are ready to be purchased.
Oregon
Trim Kit Vinyls
The Oregon Lottery has 7 different terminal form factors that all require unique die-cut vinyls with various requirements and specifications. I use Adobe Illustrator to format high quality print design vinyls (300dpi), and work directly with the printer to ensure the colors match perfectly and is cut to proper specifications.
